Mr. Eric Appiah is the National President of the Association of Rural Banks (ARB, Ghana). He was elected at the Biennial General Meeting held on November 16, 2024, and serves as the representative of ARB on the Board of ARB Apex Bank.
With over 23 years of experience in the financial and manufacturing sectors, Mr. Appiah has established himself as a seasoned banker with a proven track record of success in the fields of corporate and business banking and financial management. He is currently the Finance Director of Angel Group of Companies Limited.
Prior to joining Angel Group of Companies, he worked as a banker for 18 years in the fields of corporate and retail banking, with in-depth knowledge in auditing. He exited banking after his last six years with Republic Bank Ghana, where he served as the Manager in charge of the Corporate Banking Department for the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo Region Cluster.
He is the Board Chairman of Atwima Rural Bank PLC and a Board Member of New Generation Investment Services Limited. He also served as an Audit Committee Member of Sekyere East District Assembly.
Mr. Appiah is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana. He holds an MBA in Finance from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (Ghana). He has attended several management courses in Ghana and abroad.
