In response to the President’s call for support, ARB Apex Bank has donated GHS100,000.00 to the special fund established in honour of the victims of the August 6, 2026, helicopter crash.
During the cheque presentation to Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff at the Presidency in Accra, Alex Kwasi Awuah, Managing Director of ARB Apex Bank, emphasized that the donation reflects the Bank’s enduring values as a socially responsible corporate citizen and its role as the ‘mini’ Central Bank of the Rural and Community Banks in Ghana.
“We view our contribution as a modest but meaningful way to bring comfort and relief to the bereaved families,” Mr. Awuah stated. He added that this support demonstrates the institution’s commitment to standing with the nation in times of grief, under the leadership of H.E. President John Mahama.
Mr. Awuah also extended condolences on behalf of ARB Apex Bank and the Rural and Community Banks.
ARB Apex Bank serves as the ‘mini’ Central Bank for the 147 Rural and Community Banks in Ghana.
